Teens Viciously Attack Man Who Asked Them To Stop Smoking Weed on Train (WATCH)

A video makings its way across the tubes of the internet shows a man being physically battered and verbally abused by a group of extraordinarily vicious youths on a train–and then a train platform–near downtown Dallas.

Requesting he only be identified as “Kennan, the victim said he caught the beating after simply asking the teens to stop smoking marijuana on the train, as he’s done with passengers on Dallas Area Rapid Transit coaches multiple times before.

That request was apparently complied with–none of his assailants appear to be puffing, passing or inhaling as they mercilessly attack the man who just wanted to ride smoke-free–but at a severe cost.

Kennan’s brutal ordeal has since gone viral–it’s been viewed nearly 200,000 times since being posted to Facebook by Littmobtv on Tuesday morning.

The video (full version available here) begins as the group punches and kicks the victimized commuter. An older man attempts to pull the attackers off, but it’s all for naught. Kennan is then tossed onto the train platform where he endures a solid 45 seconds of violence and rage before standing up and attempting to re-board the train.

His adversity earns him a second beating as the teens finish the job–again punching, kicking, spitting and then striking him at least twice with skateboards before leaving his body limp on the Deep Ellum Station platform.

The incident occurred at roughly 11:30 p.m. and Kennan was taken to a nearby hospital at around midnight.

Authorities believe five boys and two girls took part in the assault. They’re currently being sought and those with information have been asked to contact DART Police at 214-928-6300.
