‘I Thought She was Trying to Kill Us’: SUV Rams into at Gas Station, Takes Off (WATCH)

Witnesses at a California gas station were taken aback when an SUV suddenly started ramming into cars in the parking lot. The people in the cars were downright terrified.

“Her eyes, it was like crazy eyes. I thought she was trying to kill us,” Darian Murphy, one of the inhabitants, told Sacramento’s FOX40. Murphy and two of her friends were seated inside her white Lexus, having just parked at the Arco station.

Another driver, Dinesh Tandel, was inside the station’s store at the time, so he wasn’t in danger. His red sedan wasn’t so lucky. Brenda Turner and three of her passengers jumped out of her car right before impact, but her aunt Billie Harris wasn’t fast enough. She did manage to get out after. “I’ve never been so scared in my life,” Harris said.

The driver of the SUV then crashed into Murphy’s car again, then turns her attention back to Turner’s group before taking off.

The incident took place late Saturday night, and according to the local TV station, police had yet to find the suspect or even pick up the security video that captured what happened, as of Thursday evening. Nevertheless, the victims saw the driver’s face and her Land Rover is clearly visible in the video. They believe they know who did it, and are waiting for authorities to take action.

The victims and witnesses told FOX40 that police classified what happened as a hit and run. “It’s an assault and assault on three people,” Murphy’s father said. After all of the victims spoke about what happened, they think they have a good idea who the driver was. They believe it’s a woman who lives in the neighborhood, and they think she’s been back to the gas station since then.
