‘What Are You Laughing About?’: Judge Rips Into Man Who Pleaded Guilty to Dipping His Nuts into Customer’s Salsa

One of America’s most compelling criminal cases came to an end on Tuesday: Tennessee man Howard Matthew Webb pleaded guilty to dipping his testicles into a customer’s salsa, according to Knox News.

Sentencing isn’t go too smoothly. Webb reportedly chuckled after entering his plea for a misdemeanor count of assault/offensive touching. Blount County General Sessions Court Judge Robert Headrick chewed him out for it.

“What are you laughing about, Mr. Webb?” Headrick said. “There is nothing about this situation I find cute or funny.”

Webb was sentenced to 30 days in jail, but he will get credit for 21 days time served. Headrick also ordered a six-month suspended sentence, drug and alcohol counseling sessions, $10 fine, and court costs.

The defendant was originally charged with adulteration of food, liquids or pharmaceuticals, which is a Class C felony.

Video posted to social media last month showed a man, Webb, apparently putting salsa on his crotch.

“This is what you get when you give an 89-cents tip for an almost 30-minute drive,” says a woman from off-screen.

“Oh! It feels good on my balls,” says the man.

The woman, a driver for the company Dinner Delivered, was fired from her job, the company said. She hasn’t been charged in this case, however.

Tennessee woman April M. Pennington told The Daily Times that she found the footage in a Facebook group chat and told the company about it. She said she posted it online, saying the company hadn’t seemed to be doing anything about it.

Dinner Delivered general manager Aliyah Wilson told the outlet they were able to investigate the video using the 89-cent tip statement to track down the order. She said Webb did not belong to the company.
