The online streaming service Netflix on Tuesday will release of new episodes of the extremely popular, but controversial documentary series Making a Murder.
Netflix just put out a press release that announced filmmakers Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos are now in production on new episodes of the series. The new episodes will focus on the post-conviction remedies available for both Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey.
“The episodes will offer exclusive access to Avery’s new lawyer Kathleen Zellner and Dassey’s legal team, led by Laura Nirider and Steve Drizin, as well as intimate access to the families and characters close to the case,” the press release states.

The first season of Making a Murder was nominated for six Emmys. The series documented the investigation into the death of Teressa Halbach and the subsequent convictions of both Avery and Dassey for her death.
