Tensing is charged in connection with the shooting death of motorist Sam DuBose during a traffic stop near the University of Cincinnati campus in July 2015.
Both sides completed closing arguments on Wednesday. The jurors had not reached a verdict by 4:30 p.m. and the judge ordered them to resume deliberations at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday morning.
