Playboy Model Could Face Charges for Body Shaming Locker Room Snapchat

Los Angeles police have located the woman who was photographed inside a gym locker room at L.A. Fitness by Playboy model Dani Mathers. The supermodel could now face charges over the incident.

“We did receive the case from the LAPD, it’s currently under review from our office. We will be making a final decision soon, but there’s no timetable at this point,” Office of Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer told ABC News. 

Matters received intense criticism for posting the body shaming picture on her Snapchat with the caption:  “If I can’t unsee this then you can’t either.”

Mather apologized for the incident, and said she meant to just send it to one friend not her entire group. She also sent out this tweet:

L.A. Fitness reported the incident to police. TMZ reports that investigators are now pushing prosecutors to charge her with “dissemination of private images.” The law makes it a crime to to intentionally distribute an image of an intimate body part or parts of another without their consent. If charged, Mathers could face 6 months in jail and a $1,000 fine.
