Two Families End Graduation Ceremony in Bloody Brawl (VIDEO)

A high school graduation ceremony broke down into a melee between two families, a witness told The New York Post.

Warning for strong language.

Viral video posted to Facebook shows the brawl, which happened Sunday at William Floyd High School in Brookhaven, New York. Footage starts with two women on the ground fighting, with more individuals rushing in, some to break up the fight, others to join in. One of the women, wearing a pink dress, stands up, and blood is seen pouring out of her head.

20-year-old Lorenzo Saez, who recorded the incident, told the Post the fight was between two families. It started when a woman got hit in the face with a heel, he said.

“Security was trying to break it apart, but they weren’t doing a good job,” he said.

No arrests were made, though Suffolk County police are still investigating. The William Floyd School District school, for its part, definitely wants somebody cuffed.

“We are disappointed by the actions of those who instigated the incident on what was a joyous occasion for our students and their families,” they said in a statement obtained by the outlet. “District officials have met with law enforcement and we are pressing charges.”
