Shia LaBeouf did not have a good Saturday. Body-cam footage obtained by Page Six shows the actor and performance artist throwing a fit during his arrest in Savanna, Georgia for public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and obstruction.
He lashed out at Savannah Police officers, telling them, “I have rights, I’m an American,” and complaining about his handcuffs.
“I’m a f–king American,” he said from inside the police cruiser. “I pay my taxes. Get these sh-ts [the cuffs] off my f–king arm.”
He also said this in the presence of a black officer.
“You got a President who don’t give a sh-t about you,” LaBeouf said on video. He said the police force didn’t “give a f–k” about the cop. “So you want to arrest white people who give a f–k, who ask for cigarettes? I came up to you trying to be nice, you stupid b-tch. I came up asking for a cigarette, you dumb f–k. Why would I ask for a cigarette if I was racist, you stupid b-tch?” LaBeouf said he had “more millionaire lawyers than you know what to do with, you stupid b-tch.”
The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office says the 31-year-old actor asked someone for a cigarette, and acted out after being denied, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He was released after posting $7,000 bond.
LaBeouf is filming a movie in the area. The actor has been arrested multiple times, dating back to a 2015 charge for assault.
