Trump Camp Plans to Replace Delegate Who was Indicted for Child Porn

 

Image via Shutterstock After one of Donald Trump’s delegates from Maryland was indicted on federal child pornography charges, his campaign intends to have him removed from the roster of participants at the Republican National Convention.  The U.S. Department of Justice announced on Thursday the indictment of Caleb Andrew Bailey, who is charged with engaging with a minor to produce child pornography, transporting explosives, and illegally possessing a machine gun. Bailey, whose father is the former vice chair of the Maryland Republican Party, is a Maryland delegate supporting Trump

Bailey could face decades in prison if he’s convicted of the charges. A representative from the Trump campaign told LawNewz.com, “We strongly condemn these allegations and leave it in the capable hands of law enforcement. He will be replaced immediately.”
