The House Intelligence Committee released their report on their Russia investigation on Friday, notably concluding that they did not find any evidence of “collusion, conspiracy, or coordination” between President Donald Trump‘s campaign and Russia. Former CIA Director John Brennan was not impressed, however, saying the “partisan” report by politicians and their staff “means nothing.”
Brennan posted his feelings about the report in response to President Trump’s celebratory tweet Friday morning. Trump tweeted about the report’s findings, exclaiming, “Wow! A total Witch Hunt! MUST END NOW!”
Just Out: House Intelligence Committee Report released. “No evidence” that the Trump Campaign “colluded, coordinated or conspired with Russia.” Clinton Campaign paid for Opposition Research obtained from Russia- Wow! A total Witch Hunt! MUST END NOW!

Brennan quickly rained on the president’s parade, calling the report “highly partisan, incomplete, and deeply flawed.”
A highly partisan, incomplete, and deeply flawed report by a broken House Committee means nothing. The Special Counsel’s work is being carried out by professional investigators—not political staffers. SC’s findings will be comprehensive & authoritative. Stay tuned, Mr. Trump…. https://t.co/Jx3jh8fomu

Brennan pointed out that what really counts is not the House report, but Special Counsel Robert Mueller‘s investigation, which is being handled by investigators, not Congressional employees.
