Central Michigan University Shooting Suspect Killed His Parents, Police Say

Police have revealed the alleged victims of shooting suspect James Eric Davis Jr., a sophomore at Central Michigan University, according to WILX. They were his parents.

Officials were initially mum about the identity of the two people killed. Reports said there were shots fired at a residence hall, and cops first described this as a “domestic situation.”

Davis, 19, is on the run, police said. A press statement issued Friday morning described him as a black man, standing at 5’10” and weighing 135 pounds.

Police said Davis was in the hospital Thursday night for a drug-related issue, and he was released Friday morning.
