Warning: the above video is disturbing.

Multiple arrests have been made in the aftermath of the slaying of 15-year-old Lesandro Guzman-Feliz, who was wrongly believed to be the person who appeared in a sex video with a 15-year-old girl who is believed to be a relative of a Trinitarios gang member.

Guzman-Feliz, shocking surveillance video showed, was dragged out of a store and then butchered by knife- and machete-wielding  suspected gang members. While some of the alleged assailants appeared clear as day on video footage, one of them ended up getting caught because his pants sagged, the New York Post reported.  As an aside, credit where credit is due on the “He was caught with his pants down” joke.

Jose Tavarez, 21, was arrested as part of a police raid in Paterson, New Jersey on Sunday afternoon. Police were reportedly looking for a suspect matching his description who had tattoos and red pants.  According to police, Tavarez was wearing khakis, but because they were sagging the red pants were revealed. You might say he was caught red-panted.

The police raid was executed at a residence housing the suspects in the Bronx slaying. Others arrested have been identified as Manuel Rivera, 18, Danel Fernandez and Jose Muniz, both 21, and Santiago Rodriguez and Joniki Martinez, both 24.

19-year-old Kevin Alvarez, has already been charged with with second-degree murder, manslaughter, gang assault, and assault. That’s a total of seven arrests, in case you weren’t counting.

Leandra Feliz spoke with CBS2 after the arrests and said “Thank God they were caught.”

“It’s good because they have to pay but I want my son back. If they could give me the life of my son I’d be happy,” she said. The grieving mother said her son left the night he was killed to lend somebody $5 and did not come home although he said he would.

“I called him because I feel like ‘you take too long. I said come on, come on’,” she said. “He said ‘oh yeah mommy, it’s okay I give him the five dollars, it’s okay I’m coming home’.”
