WATCH: Hearing for Woman Charged for Stabbing in Viral Video Brawl

Shadivia Keauslatyke Phillips is facing a hearing after a Detroit brawl between women was caught on video and went viral. Police say it all started over a parking space, and ended with one woman being stabbed. The hearing is scheduled for 9:00 am local time (10:00 ET) and can be viewed live in the player above.

Authorities say that one car was about to pull into a parking space when another car took it. Women exited both cars, and the fight broke out. Bystanders crowded around and egged them on, police say.

Here is the video of the fight:

“We have an issue out here with how to cope with our problems that we have,” Detroit police Cmdr. Aric Tosqui told ClickOnDetroit. “People arguing over a parking spot escalating to violence, it’s ridiculous that people act that way.”

Police say the victim, who was taken to a hospital for treatment, is in stable condition and is expected to fully recover.

Phillips is charged with assault with intent to murder, assault with intent to do great bodily harm and felonious assault. She is currently being held on $250,000 bond. A second woman had been taken into police custody, but Phillips is the only one currently facing charges for the incident.
