Attorney General Jeff Sessions will make a major announcement regarding the investigation of leaks within the Trump administration that have resulted in a myriad of media reports attributed to unnamed sources. This news, of course, comes from an unnamed source who told Fox News.
A “U.S. official” said that Sessions will discuss new efforts may be announced next week. President Trump has long been pushing the Justice Department to do something after supposedly classified information had been revealed to the media, with no one being held accountable for what amounts to a crime.
Trump has expressed his displeasure that Sessions hasn’t been tough enough on getting to the bottom of who these sources are. A source told Fox that an announcement of such action has been “in the works for some time.”
White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci recently said that he would “fire everybody” if it means putting a stop to leaks.
