The murder trial of Justin Ross Harris, who is accused of intentionally leaving his 22-month-old son, Cooper, in a hot car to die, continues.
Harris is facing eight charges, including malice murder, felony murder and child cruelty. He is also facing charges for allegedly sexting underage girls on the day his son was left to die in the parking lot of the Home Depot Corporate Headquarters in Cobb County, Georgia. Harris claims that he is innocent and this was all a tragic accident.
On Thursday, the jury got to see the actual car that Harris left Cooper in, with the car seat inside. The court also heard from a digital forensic expert who examined Harris’ online history. He described Harris as “crafty” for deleting his internet history, and said that only two days’ worth of browser history was found on Harris’ phone — the day Cooper died and the day before.

Testimony will continue Friday morning at 8:30 ET. The prosecution is expected to show the jury a 3D rendering of the inside of the car. Defense attorney Maddox Kilgore argued against it being allowed in court, as the measurements used to create it had changed since it was first mentioned to the defense before the trial began. Ultimately, Judge Mary Staley Clark decided to allow it.
