Law360 Announces List of Top Attorneys Under 40

 

shutterstock_263941310Law360, a legal website, announced today its list of top attorneys under the age of 40 — 179 made the cut. The organization says it carefully reviewed more than 1,000 submissions, and ended up picking attorneys from 87 different law firms.

The most winners came from the law firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP, a New York based group specializing in business litigation and arbitration. Gibson Dunn, Kirkland & Ellis LLP, and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, also scored some big wins. Some of the winners include: Tal Dickstein at Loeb & Loeb who has represented music publishers and record labels in copyright infringement cases. William Chudd at Davis Polk & Wardwell who represents clients in M&A deals including Shire’s $5.2 billion acquisition of NPS Pharma.  Clare Gaskell at Simpson Thacher also made the cut. She advises clients on private equity deals, worth billions of dollars.

Law360 divided the winners into 32 different categories including appellate, asset management, banking, employment, energy, government contracts and insurance.
