NFL Player Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones Arrested at Casino

NFL player Adam “Pacman” Jones was arrested early Wednesday morning, according to FOX19. Investigators said he was apprehended at the Rising Star Casino Resort in Rising Sun, Indiana.

This started with alleged cheating by a patron at a casino table game, the Indiana Gaming Commission said in a news release obtained by Law&Crime. Said patron (Jones) allegedly acted “verbally combative and disorderly” with investigators. He was arrested for disorderly conduct, public intoxication, intimidation, and resisting arrest, authorities said.

The talented cornerback has had a pretty rocky career, and controversial public profile.

Arrests marked his history since a 2005 arrest for assault and felony vandalism, according to an ESPN timeline. This case was eventually dismissed. There were an also arrests for drug possession and public intoxication, involvement in a gas station shooting (he was a witness, not suspect), and an alleged link to a strip club fight. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell suspended him for the 2007 season amid these personal problems.

The cornerback, then a member of the Cincinnati Bengals, pleaded guilty in 2017 related to an alleged fight with a hotel security guard. Assault and disorderly conduct charges were dismissed. In return, he copped to obstructing official business. Video showed him cursing at a police officer.

Jones was also seen on video brawling with an airport employee in Atlanta. That time, cops sided with him. They claimed it was the other guy’s fault.

Jones, 35, is a free agent, and was released by the Denver Broncos in November after playing seven games.

Records don’t name the new case, let alone an attorney of record. Jones could not be immediately reached for comment.
