Federal prosecutors recommend a substantial prison sentence for Michael Cohen, the former personal attorney to President Donald Trump. Cohen admitted to a series of crimes involving campaign finance. The office of Special Counsel Robert Mueller said it would take no position on Cohen’s sentence, but did say that he provided helpful information in its probe into Russian collusion in the 2016 election. Also, the case of a Wisconsin judge charged with stalking and the Illinois case of three Chicago cops accused of covering up a fatal shooting.
