Opening statements are scheduled to begin today in the trial of a homeowner charged with shooting and killing 20 year-old Kouren-Rodney Thomas.
Authorities say Chad Copley fired a shotgun through a window in his garage. Earlier, Copley called 911 saying he was “locked and loaded”, referring to a house party in his neighborhood. He complained about “hoodlums” in his neighborhood.
