Virginia, the future of the Commonwealth is at stake tomorrow. Find your polling place at https://t.co/j7EyqNhth4 to vote Ed for #VAGov

Donald Trump Jr. tweeted out incorrect election information to his 2.22 million followers today.
In a tweet referencing the Virginia gubernatorial contest between far-right Republican candidate Ed Gillespie and center-right Democratic candidate Ralph Northam, the younger Trump implored his GOP-leaning fans “to vote Ed.”
Ringing the equivalent of political alarm bells, Trump Jr.’s tweet stated, “Virginia, the future of the Commonwealth is at stake tomorrow.” That’s fairly standard political language, however, the son of the president got one thing wrong: the Virginia gubernatorial election is being held today–not tomorrow.
Many Twitter users reacted giddily to the apparently unintentional flub:
YES! All Republicans be sure to save up your energy today and get out to vote tomorrow.

Good God, dotard in training did it AGAIN.
The election is TODAY, Democrats!

In his tweet, Trump Jr. included a link to a third-party poll finder produced by the GOP–and he also caught flak for that. Some Twitter users cautioned voters not to rely on the link supplied in Trump’s tweet while noting that the American Civil Liberties Union in Virginia has been receiving multiple reports of voters being falsely told that their polling locations had recently changed:
No, absolutely don’t go to this link Trump Jr. is referencing. There is only one reliable place to find polling places in Va. pic.twitter.com/HPq5Mi1YDf

The ACLU is reportedly fielding calls that Virginians are falsely being told their polling sites have changed.

Other users were a bit more succinct and exacting:
lmao you’re the dumbest fuck on the planet and the textbook definition of an upward failure
