A woman who was in the middle of breaking into a Dallas restaurant called 911 to report herself, and ended up getting shot as a result, police say. The unnamed suspect allegedly placed the call at 4:41 Wednesday morning, saying she was inside a Golden Chick fast food establishment. When officers arrived, she was allegedly waiting with a knife.
Officers say they confronted the woman and told her to drop the weapon, but she refused. They used a stun gun on her, but that didn’t stop her. After she allegedly raised her knife at them, one officer fired shot her. As per standard procedure, that officer is now on administrative leave pending an investigation into the incident.
