VIDEO: Woman on Ride-a-Long With Cop When Suspect Opens Fire

A terrifying few moments in Madera County, California.  A woman was on a ride-a-long with a cop when a suspect opened fire and shot at their police car.

“No, no, no don’t follow him,” the civilian yells, as the cop continues to follow the car as the driver blows through stop signs.

WATCH:

According to ABC 30, a Madera police officer attempted to make a traffic stop around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, when the car took off.

Damage from the police cruiser being shot three times finally forced the officer to pull over. The passenger was hit by broken glass, but is expected to be okay. The officer was not injured. Police are now searching for the people who fired more than a dozen rounds. The Fresno Bee reports the officer just finished training and was on his second week on the job.
