Comey Confirms FBI Investigation of Trump’s Links with Russia

On Monday, FBI Director James Comey told Congress that yes, the feds are investigating possible links between the Russian government and the presidential campaign of President Donald Trump. But he can’t say more right now since this is an ongoing process.

U.S. government officials have said since October that Moscow directed hacking efforts to influence the 2016 election. Reports of Russia’s involvement have supplied substantial ammo to Trump’s political opponents. Nonethless, despite bad optics surrounding former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and a salacious but unconfirmed dossier, there remains no substantiated evidence of collusion between the POTUS’ campaign and Moscow.

Obviously, this FBI investigation is an attempt to sort this all out.
