Army Soldiers Arrested for Alleged Armed Home Burglary With Children Inside

 

Image via U.S. Army Fort Carson Facebook page Four soldiers from the Fort Carson army base were arrested on Sunday for allegedly breaking into a home with a gun in nearby Colorado Springs. They are also accused of demanding property from the couple who live there, while their two children were present, Fox21 reported According to police, one of them showed a handgun and threatened to shoot them.

Police says the couple, who reportedly knew the soldiers, refused to give them anything, at which point the four men left, threatening to come back. The couple then called the police. According to KRDO, no one was hurt, the soldiers didn’t take anything, and they later turned themselves in that night.

The men, identified as Roman Alred, Aaron Perry, Mykal Hall, and Dustin Mincy, are facing charges of first degree burglary, menacing, and child abuse.

Fort Carson released a statement, saying, “Four Fort Carson Soldiers were arrested off post Sunday for aggravated robbery. Fort Carson is cooperating with Colorado Springs Police Department in their investigation.”
