Aaron Hernandez Murder Trial Comes to Halt Over Rumors Juror Posted on Reddit

 

The Aaron Hernandez double murder trial came to an abrupt halt on Wednesday after rumors that a juror posted on a Reddit board while the trial was underway or during a break. There is no confirmation that the post was authored by a juror in the case, but the judge ordered the pool cameras shut down momentarily.


Judge Locke asked jurors whether any of them or their family had been posting online about the murder trial. Reports are that the post in question appeared on the reddit/law thread, and included some of the statements below:
