Nurse Implicated in Kelsey Berreth Murder Case Agrees to Testify Against Patrick Frazee

Krystal Lee Kenney, the Idaho nurse implicated in the allegedly murder of Kelsey Berreth, not only pleaded guilty on Friday to tampering with evidence, but she also agreed to testify against the accused killer, Patrick Frazee. She will be sentenced after his trial, according to ABC 7.

It was previously reported that authorities suspected her of disposing of the victim’s cell phone.

Colorado authorities said Frazee is responsible for Berreth disappearing last Thanksgiving. They said he killed her after soliciting at least one other person to end her life.

The defendant has said absolutely nothing in public about this case. He froze out reporters when this was just a missing persons case. He continued to ignore requests in and out of the courthouse after his arrest.

Investigators said they haven’t found a body, but they argue there’s still enough evidence to charge Frazee for the death. The new cooperation deal involving Lee gives them more leverage in the case.

Frazee is scheduled to appear in court on February 19. His and Barreth’s parents are currently fighting in court over the custody of the victim and defendant’s one-year-old daughter. Court in that case is scheduled to continue in April. The girl remains with her maternal grandparents.
