Well, try to get away with something a few hundred times, you’re bound to get caught.
A New Jersey man is under arrest for taking one too many free rides on toll roads. James C. Clicerio was pulled over on Thursday after driving a white SUV through a toll plaza at Staten Island’s Outerbridge Crosssing. A Port Authority police officer stopped Clicerio for allegedly not paying the toll. A record check then showed that this wasn’t the first time.
According to the Port Authority police, Clicerio had 323 violations totalling $20,869 in unpaid tolls and fees, under 5 different E-ZPass toll payment accounts, NJ.com reported.
Clicerio was arrested and is now facing charges of larceny and obstructing government administration.
