Rapper Cardi B (born, Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar) is turning herself in to authorities due to a violent encounter with two strip club bartenders at end of August.
According to TMZ, Jade and Baddie Gi claimed that Cardi B thought Jade had sex with Offset, her husband. She allegedly told her associates to attack the women with bottles and chairs.
The women were hurt, but they did not want medical attention. The incident occurred on Aug. 29 at Angels Strip Club in Flushing, Queens. Cardi B was not arrested, but she will reportedly face misdemeanor reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct charges.
Cardi B’s team denied that this was a targeted attack. They said it was a “spontaneous” response to someone who threw a drink. PIX11’s cameras were rolling on Monday when Cardi B entered the 109th Precinct, flanked by an associate with an umbrella.
She did not respond to reporter questions like “What do you think your punishment should be?”
It’s not the first time Cardi B’s entourage was involved in a violent altercation.
