Man Arrested After Dropped Gun Fires, Injures Customer Inside Dunkin Donuts, Cops Say

A Florida man turned himself in on Saturday after cops say he dropped his gun inside a Dunkin Donuts and it discharged, injuring another customer inside the store.

Police are telling local news stations that 38-year-old Randy Borroso went to a Dunkin Donuts on Saturday morning when initial evidence appears to show that a gun fell from his clothing and discharged, injuring a 55-year-old woman who was also a customer inside the store.

Borroso allegedly fled the scene after the incident, but quickly turned himself in to police and has reportedly been cooperative while in custody.  In a statement to police, Borroso allegedly said the shooting was unintentional and he provided his concealed carry permit to police.

He was then arrested and booked in the Broward County jail on $500 bond, charged with culpable negligence.
