President Donald Trump kicked off his Tuesday morning with a series of tweets criticizing Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his team of prosecutors, claiming that they are ruining people’s lives and unfairly targeting him and his associates. Not only did Trump take shots at the Russia probe, he also made some personal attacks against Mueller himself.
“Mueller is a conflicted prosecutor gone rogue,” he said, “The Fake News Media builds Bob Mueller up as a Saint, when in actuality he is the exact opposite. He is doing TREMENDOUS damage to our Criminal Justice System, where he is only looking at one side and not the other.”
As for the investigation itself, Trump said, “The now $30,000,000 Witch Hunt continues and they’ve got nothing but ruined lives.”
The Phony Witch Hunt continues, but Mueller and his gang of Angry Dems are only looking at one side, not the other. Wait until it comes out how horribly & viciously they are treating people, ruining lives for them refusing to lie. Mueller is a conflicted prosecutor gone rogue….

The president also claimed that by “only looking at one side and not the other,” Mueller was “doing TREMENDOUS damage to our Criminal Justice System.” While Mueller’s probe has tackled a wide range of issues related to the Trump campaign and Russia, his authority is limited to what is laid out in a memo from Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. In the past, Mueller has referred issues like those surrounding Michael Cohen‘s criminal case to other prosecutors.
