Attorney and possible presidential candidate Michael Avenatti prodded Donald Trump Jr. again on Sunday, and asked if the president would pardon him.
.@DonaldJTrumpJr – Can you confirm that you have no reason to believe that you are about to be indicted for making false stmts to federal agents? Asking for some friends.
Btw, this could not happen to a nicer guy. Will your father continue his corruption pattern and pardon you?

In case you missed it, the attorney last week proposed a mixed-martial arts fight with the president’s son, and proceeds would go to charity. We’re serious. He said it on the record, and everything.
Avenatti kept butting heads with junior by continuing to predict charges.
“Donald Trump Jr. will be indicted before his birthday on 12-31-18,” he said. “If you doubt my prediction, please check my record over the last 7 months.”
Avenatti became famous nationwide for representing porn star Stormy Daniels. The client said she had an affair with current President Donald Trump, but that Trump attorney Michael Cohen paid her off during the height of the 2016 election to stay quiet. She sued, claiming the NDA couldn’t be enforced because Trump Sr. never signed it.
Pundits suggested that Cohen left himself open to prosecution for campaign finance violations. Meanwhile, Avenatti styled himself a Trump and Cohen foe. And well, Cohen is now publicly estranged from the president, and has pleaded guilty to the campaign finance stuff and other charges in federal court. He claimed a candidate (Trump Sr., obviously) directed him to pay off Daniels and Playboy model Karen McDougal.
Trump Jr.’s liability is part of an ongoing debate amid the Moscow election interference probe run by Special Counsel Robert Mueller. He admitted last year that he met with a Russian lawyer after being promised dirt on democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
The president and his son deny wrongdoing.
