Prominent Atlanta attorney, Tex McIver, is back in court today as the judge decides if he can travel out-of-state to attend his mother’s funeral.
McIver is charged with malice murder in the shooting death of his wife. He has said the shooting was an accident.
Atlanta police have said McIver was riding in a rear seat of an SUV late Sept. 25 when a gun he was holding fired and the bullet hit his wife.
