Concerned family members are fearing the worst now that an Ennis, Texas mom has been missing for more than 10 days. Emily Wade, 38, vanished without a trace on Saturday Jan. 5. Here’s what we know so far.

Police announced on Facebook that Wade had gone missing days after she first disappeared.

They described Wade as a white, 38-year-old woman with blonde hair who was driving a silver 2012 Nissan Altima with Kentucky plates. Police later revealed that Wade is a mother of a 7-year-old daughter.

The last thing Wade told her family was that she was going to watch a movie with a Chili’s Restaurant co-worker, Click2Houston reported. Wade was reportedly last seen leaving that friend’s house around 9 p.m. and never returned home. Wade lived with her mom and daughter.

Shirley Wade, the mother of the missing woman, believes something bad must have happened because she knows Emily would never abandon her family.

“I don’t think she ran off, I would bet my life on that,” Wade told NBC News. “I’m scared I’ll never see her again alive, and I’ve never said that to anybody else, but I am scared to death.”

“No she’s never done anything like this before. That’s what scares me. She would not do this to her mother. I know she would not do it to me,” she added. “She knows how I worry. She would not do this to me. She would not do this to her daughter. No, nothing like this.”

Police have not been able to find Wade’s car. Nor have Wade’s bank account or phone given away any clues as to her whereabouts.

Jared Jones, the father of Wade’s child, has been questioned by police in connection with her disappearance, but is not a suspect. Shirley Wade doesn’t suspect Jones either.

“I don’t think Jared would ever hurt the mother of his child,” she said. “It would shock me.”

Jones said he had “no problem” cooperating with police and just wants Wade home safe.

Jones said he has been questioned by police. “They want to know about where I was Saturday night of course. I expected that, and I have no problem cooperating in any way, polygraph, whatever you need. I just want her home,” he said. Wade’s co-workers have also been questioned.

Search and recuse teams with K-9s like Toney, pictured below, continue to search for Emily Wade in the Ennis, Texas area. Police are also using drones in their search.
