Cosby Sex Assault Accuser Arrested on Drug Charges

One of the women who has stepped forward with allegations that Bill Cosby sexually assaulted her now has legal trouble of her own. Chloe Goins, who is currently has a lawsuit claiming that Cosby drugged and abused her at the Playboy Mansion in 2008, was arrested for alleged possession of heroin in San Diego.

Goins was in the parking lot of the George F. Bailey Detention Center in Otay Mesa, California when a sheriff’s deputy approached her about a car violation, local Fox5 reported. The exact nature of the stop is unclear at this time, but San Diego County Sheriff’s spokesman Ryan Keim said that heroin was found in Goins’ car. Due to her location, Goins was charged with possession of a controlled substance in prison and bringing alcohol or drugs in prison, which are both felonies. Despite this, Keim said there was no evidence that Goins brought the substance inside the jail building itself.

Goins filed her lawsuit against Cosby in May 2016, claiming that she was with Cosby at the Playboy Mansion, passed out, and woke up to find him in the room with her, touching her feet with his pants down. Cosby denies the allegations. That case is scheduled to go to trial next June.
