Former UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor pleaded guilty Thursday in a New York City courtroom for lashing out at a UFC press conference in April. The charge is disorderly conduct, a violation. No time behind bars.
Conor McGregor has been dismissed of all felony accounts. He will have to do 5 days of community service, pay restitution for the damage to the bus, and enter anger management evaluation.

Co-defendant Cian Cowley was sentenced to three days of community service, and ordered to do complete an anger management program. He won’t have to pay restitution for the bus.
Nonetheless, the bus had seen better days. As seen on video, McGregor threw what appeared to be a barricade at the vehicle, smashing glass. Reportedly, he was furious at being stripped of the lightweight belt for inactivity. A bout was held at UFC 223 to determine his replacement. Several fighters missed out on the event because of the incident: Michael Chiesa sustained several cuts. Artem Lobov, who trains with McGregor, was taken off the event after being implicated in the incident.
“I just want to say, I’m thankful to the D.A. and the judge for allowing me to move forward,” McGregor said in a brief press conference after his guilty plea. “I want to say to my friends, my family, my fans: Thank you for the support.”

McGregor’s manager Audie Attar told ESPN they were satisfied with the sentence.
