WATCH: Plea Hearing for Jeffrey Hazelwood, Charged With Murdering Teens

 


Jeffrey Hazelwood, the man charged with murdering two teens in Roswell, Georgia in August of last year, is appearing in court on Wednesday for a status report hearing. Watch in the player above.

Hazelwood allegedly shot and killed Natalie Henderson and Carter Davis, both 17. Roswell Police Detective Jennifer Bennett said at a prior hearing that Hazelwood confessed to police that he had confronted the teens in their car, ordered them to get out, and then shot Davis in the head when he felt threatened by him. Bennett said that Hazelwood admitted to then sexually assaulting Henderson before shooting her in the head and stealing her debit card.

He is charged with is charged with murder, aggravated assault, aggravated sexual battery, identity fraud, theft, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
