Train Worker Didn’t Know What Women Were Doing in the Bathroom, Called Them Porn Stars Anyway (VIDEO)

It may only be a matter of time until this Utah Transit Authority (UTA) worker is out of job. Accosting female passengers, baselessly accusing them of having sex on the train, and asking, “Were you putting [tampons] in each other?” will do that.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports that the man identified only as “Jeremy” has already been placed on leave after a Tuesday night incident on the train. The story goes that five women on their way to a concert saw their night go off the rails when this male employee took exception to them going to the bathroom in groups.

Camille Hoerner said she and another friend went to the bathroom together because only one of them had feminine hygiene products. That’s when the employee started “shaking on the door and yelling, ‘Only one at a time!'”

She said when they left the bathroom they saw no one and were disturbed. Because of that, Lexi Beckstead and Alyssa Childs went to the bathroom together. Understandably, they found this unnerving, but little did they know what was about to happen next.

When they got back to their seats, Beckstead said the employee said, “This is public transit, this isn’t Pornhub.” Christy Atkinson, a passenger who wasn’t with the group, said she heard the man make sexual comments.

“You called us porn stars,” Childs said.

“I don’t care,” he answered.

“These women needed tampons,” Childs replied. “What’s wrong with that?”

“Why does it take all three of them 10 minutes? Were you putting them in each other?” he asked, prompting a “What the fuck!” response.

Eventually, the worker attempted to eject himself from the situation by saying, in effect, if you don’t like it, leave.

“You know what, I’m not doing this. Y’all can get off at the next stop if you’ve got a problem,” he says. He then said he’s also told guys to get out of the bathroom before and that the women have “no idea what we catch people [doing] in these bathrooms.”

Finally, Childs asks him, “Did you call them porn stars, too?”

“Yes,” he said.

The incident was reported to the UTA and “Jeremy” has been placed on leave, UTA spokesperson Carl Arky said. Arky said Jeremy may very well lose his job because “[W]e were aghast — everybody who saw it was appalled by what happened.”
