A friend, Esteban Guzman sent me this video of a racist white woman harassing him while out working with his mom.
“Why do you hate us?”
“Because you’re Mexicans.”

A white woman and apparent supporter of President Donald Trump verbally harassed a California man in an anti-Mexican rant caught on video.
In the footage, the white woman tells landscaper Esteban Guzman that Mexicans are “rapists and animals.” Guzman works construction on weekends to supplement his income. He’s also a college graduate who is regularly employed as an IT systems administrator. He and his mother were clearing a yard last Saturday when the woman approached them.
The recording begins with Guzman imploring the woman to reconsider her feelings. He says, with a small touch of frustration, “I don’t know why you hate us. Why do you hate us? To which the white Trump supporter replies:
Because you’re Mexicans.
Guzman appears taken aback. He says, “Because we’re Mexicans?” The woman affirms, “Yeah.”
Again, Guzman tries to make a case for judging people on the content of their character as opposed to the color of their skin. He pleads, “We’re honest people here.” The woman giggles at the suggestion and says:
Haha, yeah. Rapists. And animals. Drug dealers.
Trump’s use of the words “animals” to describe MS-13 and Mexicans as “rapists” have been well-documented by the media.
Guzman incredulously asks the woman to name how many times he’s been accused of rape and how many drugs he’s dealt. As the video continues, the woman inaudibly appears to say something about she saw on the news. Guzman asks, “You believe everything you see on the news?” The Trump-supporter retorts, “Yeah, I do.”
For one final time Guzman tries to convince her. He asks, “You see how we’re working hard right here?” The woman scoffs and says, “I see what you’re doing. You’re also polluting everybody else’s yard.”
As the clip draws to a close, Guzman’s mother calls out in Spanish for an end to the confrontation. The white woman mocks Guzman’s mother with gibberish apparently intended to mock her use of the Spanish language. The white woman then wags her finger in Guzman’s face repeatedly, calling, “Come here little boy! Come here little boy!”
Guzman initially posted the video on Facebook. In turn, Facebook removed the video because, in Guzman’s words, “I guess showing the world that racism still exists is ‘against their community standards.'” The video has since been reposted on Twitter and viewed over one million times as of this writing.
In comments on that since-removed Facebook post, Guzman wrote:
Thank you for voting for Trump because thanks to him everywhere I go I am a rapist, an animal, and drug dealer. You don’t know what it feels like to be hated so much. I can take all the racial slurs they can throw at me. However, when they start yelling at my mother, that’s another story.
The woman has yet to be identified.
