The confirmation hearing for Rex Tillerson, President-elect Donald Trump‘s pick for Secretary of State will begin Wednesday morning. Tillerson, the former CEO of ExxonMobil, will face questions regarding his qualifications for the job when he appears before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
Tillerson will likely be pressed regarding his reported ties to Russia, which has drawn concern from members of both parties. Senator Bob Corker, Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, will preside over the hearing.
