Game of Thrones star Kit Harington was bounced from a New York City bar after apparently bringing a bit too much drunken ruckus on Friday night.
Video obtained by TMZ shows the 31-year-old British actor being restrained by a group of people after he allegedly banged on a pool table and grabbed other patrons’ pool cues.
In the video, Harington’s eyes look off plaintively while the HBO star is held back following his outburst.
Harington frequently interacts with others in the bar: slowly raising his hands, being held back by their hands, exchanging slurred-but-mostly-garbled words, grabbing shoulders, having his shoulders grabbed, pushing people away, arguing ad nauseum, and shouting an inebriated-sounding announcement to the people around him at the table.
Eventually, Harington is physically escorted out by security staff at the Gramercy area Barfly–seemingly with only a moderate amount of trouble by New York City standards. One witness claimed that Harington was asked to leave once before–but returned and only had to be removed after his second go-round.
The incident apparently stemmed from Harrington being denied a spot in an ongoing game of billiards, according to a report in the New York Daily News.
Both Barfly and Harington’s representatives are keeping mum about the confrontation and eventual ejection–both have refused comment as of this afternoon.
Harington plays the character Jon Snow in HBO‘s Game of Thrones. The hit show is scheduled to return to the premium cable channel for an eighth and final season sometime in 2019.
