A woman in Brazil pummeled a man with her breasts on a busy street after accusing him of sexually harassing her–all as part of an anti-harassment display promoting women’s rights.

In a video that’s threatening to go extremely viral, a young saleswoman who had been passing out fliers to passersby grows fed up with a man who she terms a “sex pest” before letting loose.

The video begins with the woman pinning the man down on the ground with her feet. She waves her hands around and shouts frantically in Portuguese.

A crowd of people looks on as the woman continues to dress the man down verbally. Soon enough, however, she dresses down herself–in the physical fashion.

At one point, she says she is sick and tired of being, “touched and sexually harassed while doing [her] job.”

The pinned down man begs for the woman to stop. She doesn’t. The confused man then attempts to reason with his female assailant, saying he “was out shopping with [his] wife and hasn’t done anything wrong.”

But his pleas were apparently too little too late.

The dominant woman then removes her top and shout-asks rhetorically:

I’m fed up of being treated like a sex object. Is it boobs you want?

Without being given time to answer, that’s exactly what he gets. The woman proceeds to remove her sports bra or undershirt and then gives the alleged “sex pest” a few pieces of her mind–via her chest.

The woman straddles the man, berates him at full volume, slaps him in the face repeatedly with both hands and then pins him down at the shoulders as she rubs her breasts across his face.

A woman in the crowd shouts, “This is absurd, there is no justification for doing this. How can you do this in front of children in the city center? You’re disrespecting women with your actions.”

The breast-wielding woman doesn’t care. She continues to forcibly knock herself against the man’s face for a few seconds, shouting all the while before tossing out one last slap and yanking free her blue top from underneath the man as she dismounts her perplexed victim.

All of a sudden seemingly conscious that she’s been shouting on the half-shell, the angry woman immediately dresses and walks away as a man from the crowd approaches her.

No one was charged in the incident–which was later admittedly staged by the Confluencias theatre group.

The group’s director, Fausto Ribeiro, said:

We wanted to expose and address something that happens every day to our sisters and female friends.

This was meant to challenge people’s perceptions and empower women with the shock tactic of retaliation. We wanted to force men to think more responsibly about their actions and consequences.

While staged, the video has apparently been shared after rising levels of discourse on sexual assault and sexual harassment in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal.
