Yes. “Any person” who knows of abuse or is called to render aid to a child suffering from abuse must report. “Any such person” who “knows or has reasonable cause to suspect that a child has been sexually abused” must also report.

(4) Does the law allow jail time for those who fail to properly report abuse? Yes; the penalty is a Class A Misdemeanor punishable by up to 11 months, 29 days in prison and up to a $2,500 fine.
