Bill Cosby Plans to Tour America Teaching the Youth About Sexual Assault

Bill Cosby apparently has a bright future ahead of him. Since the criminal trial against the actor — who has been accused of drugging and raping dozens of woman — ended in a mistrial, Cosby plans to tour America teaching the youth about how to avoid sexual assault.

Cosby’s spokespeople Andrew Wyatt and Ebonee Benson appeared on Good Day Alabama Wednesday morning to announce a series of town hall events the 79-year-old actor plans to host host geared at educating young people on new sexual assault laws.

“Mr. Cosby wants to get back to work,” Wyatt said. “We are now planning town halls and we’re going to be coming to this city sometime in July.”

Wyatt said that the goal of the town halls would be to “talk to young people.”

“Because this is bigger than Bill Cosby,” he continued, apparently referring to the issue of being accused of sexual assault. “This issue can affect any young person. Especially young athletes of today. And they need to know what they’re facing when they’re hanging out and partying, when they’re doing certain things that they shouldn’t be doing.”

Wyatt added that stumbling into sexual assault cases “also affects married men.”

And what better teacher to bring this message to the youth than Bill Cosby, who despite dozens of women accusing him of drugging and raping them, has maintained that the sex was consensual.

Cosby spokeswoman Benson added that the town halls will also seek inform people of changing sexual assault laws: “The statute of limitations for victims sexual assault are being extended. So this is why people need to be educated on, a brush against a shoulder, you know anything at this point can be considered sexual assault, and its a good thing to be educated about the laws.”
