The briefly controversial foreperson selected by Judge Jeffrey Locke in the Aaron Hernandez trial spoke out after finding the former football star not guilty of first degree murder in the double shooting death of two men in Boston in 2012. Additionally, jurors found Hernandez not guilty of witness intimidation for allegedly shooting his former friend and star prosecution witness Aaron Bradley in the face. Finally, he was acquitted in the shooting of the third victim who survived and testified against Hernandez.

However, jurors did convict him of unlawful possession of a firearm.
According to the CBS Boston, foreperson Lindsey Stringer read a brief statement after the verdict, telling the media, “We the jury heard from over 70 witnesses and over 380 exhibits over five weeks. We deliberated for six days. We base our decision based on the evidence presented and the law. We have no further comment.”
The jury did not take any questions and left immediately after the statement was read.
