The U.S. Supreme Court has vacancy, and we’re in the middle of an election season. As he promised in a March fundraiser, presumptive Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump has released a list of people he’d nominate to the Supreme Court.
According to The Associated Press: federal appeals judge Steven Colloton, Colorado judge Allison Eid, federal appeals judge Raymond Gruender, federal appeals judge Thomas Hardiman, federal appeals judge Raymond Kethledge, Michigan judge Joan Larsen, Utah judge Thomas Lee, federal appeals judge William Pryor, Minnesota judge David Stras, federal appeals judge Diane Sykes, and Texas judge Don Willett. Trump cited Sykes and Pryor as potential nominees in February.
LawNewz.com is researching each of the potential nominees, and will provide an analysis shortly. Stay with us.
