FBI Director James Comey is testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday for a hearing on “Oversight of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.” Committee Chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley is presiding. In a prepared statement for the hearing, Grassley touched on issues including allegations of Russian interference in November’s election, Hillary Clinton‘s email server, and the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando. The oversight hearing is an annual occurrence, meant to check in on the operations of the FBI. Comey likened it to an annual visit to the dentist, but said he looked forward to cooperating with the Senate to discuss the bureau’s activities.
