A Tempe judge appears in court today for a pretrial hearing. Judge Thomas Robinson is accused of brutally stabbing his wife 10 times in her face, back, chest and arm.
Robinson is charged with ten counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of tampering with evidence. His wife initially told police an intruder attacked her. She then later admitted it was her husband. However, she asked a judge to allow her to see him saying, “I trust my husband, I love my husband, I miss my husband.”
Police say Robinson stabbed his wife then later threw the bloody bed sheets and knife in the trash.
