Late last year, a jury could not reach a unanimous verdict in the second trial against Dalia Dippolito. Her arrest was featured on the television show “Cops” and undercover cameras recorded her discussing the hit with a cop who she believed was a paid killer. She has claimed it was all an act for the television cameras.
This is Dippolito’s third trial for this crime. She was convicted after a first trial, but that decision was vacated. Her second trial ended in a mistrial after the jury could not reach a decision.
