WATCH: Kristopher Torgerson Murder Trial Day 8

The murder trial of Kristopher Torgerson continues Wednesday in Marathon County, Wisconsin. Torgerson is charged in the 2010 death of 22-year-old Stephanie LowThe Wisconsin woman was missing for years before her remains were found in 2014. Torgerson was the one who led authorities to Low’s body in a shallow grave, years after her alleged murder. Torgerson was believed to be at Low’s home looking for drugs, and Low and her boyfriend were known to sell cocaine.

On Tuesday, the defense cross-examined Richard Hawkins, who had previously described how he had assisted Torgerson in disposing of Low’s body. Next, the court heard from the forensic pathologist who performed Low’s autopsy. She said she was unable to determine that exact cause of Low’s death, but did describe a number of injuries that she observed on the body, leading Low’s mother to exit the courtroom.

The trial will continue Wednesday morning. Stay with LawNewz.com and the LawNewz Network for continuing coverage of the case.
