Sources told Bloomberg that government officials learned of the cyber-attack into the Foundation last week, but Brian Cookstra, a Clinton Foundation spokesman, denied having any knowledge of the hacking.
The attack on the Clinton Foundation raises questions regarding the security of Clinton’s computer systems. This comes in the midst of the FBI’s investigation into her use of a personal email server to conduct government business while she was Secretary of State.
This wasn’t the only Clinton-related hacker activity on Tuesday. A hacker going by the name Guccifer 2.0 posted what they called a “Dossier on Hillary Clinton From DNC.” The hacker claims that the documents were obtained from the DNC network, and contain information on Clinton and the Clinton Foundation, including a list of major donors.
